Odin Grupo de Energía S.A. advances in patenting activity
Odin Grupo de Energía S.A. through its Researching and Development Department keeps searching new alternative and innovative sources that allow to increase the production of less pollutant energy sources at the same time we improve the products quality.
The company has presented five requests of Invention Patents before to the Superintendency of Industry, Commerce and Mining (SIC), of which four were required by Odin Energy Santa Marta Corporation S.A. and the other one by Odin Petroil S.A.
Among the Invention Patents applied by Odin Energy are, the Mixture of methyl esters of Palm Oil with pour point improved, Method to determinate methanol in Glycerin by gas chromatography with Head Space System, Method to determinate FAMEs in Biodiesel by Gas Chromatography and the Method to determinate content of methyl esters in Diesel by Gas Chromatography. Meanwhile, Odin Petroil filed the request for heavy fuel and production method.
These researches that are performing Odin Grupo de Energía S.A. have been possible because of the relevant investment done by the Company in laboratories and equipment which are the more sophisticated and of highest technology. This have allowed to the professional team that is working in the company, advance in the scientific researches.
